Who is behind the site?
EngineTheoryLab is independently published and maintained as a focused automotive content project. The site is built around a simple editorial goal: take complicated engine topics and explain them in a way that a normal driver can follow.
We do not present the site as a replacement for manufacturer service information or professional mechanical training. When a question depends on an exact engine code, model year, market specification or repair procedure, the manufacturer's documentation should take priority.
What we cover
The site covers petrol and diesel engines, turbocharging, fuel injection, engine management, cooling, emissions systems, hybrids, electric powertrains and practical maintenance. Separate sections look at German and Indian automotive engineering because different markets operate under different regulations, conditions and customer requirements.
How articles are written
Articles are written to answer a real question rather than simply collect keywords. A useful page should explain how a system works, identify the important trade-offs and connect the engineering to everyday ownership.
